Founder and Designer, AromaTherapy Jewelry

Elizabeth Solares is the Founder and Designer of AromaTherapy Jewelry. Residing in Garden Grove, CA, this born and raised Californian juggles running her own business, working as an administrative director at a preschool, being a licensed real estate agent and, most importantly, raising her daughter, Serina.

The story of Elizabeth founding AromaTherapy Jewelry begins in, oddly enough, a spa! “I have to admit, I give credit to my mom who told me, ‘Do things you can’t normally do when Serina is with you.’ So, I thought, what and where can I go to ease the build-up of daily tensions and take a break from reality? The spa!

Mother’s Day 2014, my sister, my mother and I decided to travel to the Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa in Palm Springs. As I was being checked out at the spa, there was a lavender essential oil looking at me. I picked it up, smelled it and immediately I was in a trance. As a memento of our amazing weekend, I decided to purchase it as its aroma would be a way of taking me back to my safe haven.

The following week, I gave my sister that bottle of lavender essential oil to calm the sudden onset of anxiety attacks that came upon her. Since our sensory system has a powerful impact on our nervous system, I knew the essential oil would help in easing her anxiousness. Several days later she felt the onset of another panic attack. Apprehensively, she started digging through her purse looking for the lavender essential oil to calm her. As I was looking at every second of her struggle, I thought there must be an easier solution to this.

The next day I was driving a long distance home when I reached my right arm out to my mother on the passenger seat and asked her to place lavender essential oil onto the bracelet my daughter Serina had made for me. As I was driving and experiencing the aroma of my bracelet, that is when it hit me, AromaTherapy Jewelry, instantly accessible to you, wherever you are, at your convenience. The rest is history!”
