Greta Rose Zagarino

"I am proud of the measurable success I've contributed to some of the world's best brands."
“I travel only when I have to. I'm a total home body! I schedule video chats with global clients and travel the ‘world’ from the comfort of my office.”

Remember the 1995 Universal Studios film Casper starring Christina Ricci? You probably never expected to come across the face behind the face of the friendly ghost, new ISPA member Greta Rose Zagarino!

Born and raised in California, this Berkeley girl is original, devoted and insatiably curious. With over 15 years’ experience in marketing, development and design, Greta founded Greta Rose Agency (GRA) in 2012 as a development and design firm specializing in customized websites, graphic design, social media and marketing strategies. Balancing left brain functionality with right brain creativity, Greta has helped hundreds of clients build beautifully designed, technically-sound and results-oriented websites:

“I’ve had the joy of working with beautiful companies around the world in the spa industry, creating websites and online tools, producing compelling videos, visual assets and social campaigns, and helping strengthen their digital teams with custom support, education and inspiration,” says Greta. “I am proud of the measurable success I've contributed to some of the world's best brands. My projects have been featured on NBC Nightly News, Oprah.com, Hollywood Reporter, Huffington Post, TED and many more. I have also enjoyed being a recurring guest lecturer for Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

“My proudest accomplishment would have to be a tie between creating my agency and staying happily married for over 20 years. While close friends call me Greta Rose, my husband always says, ‘Of all the Greta Roses, you're the Greta Rosiest.’ He is an ordained Zen Buddhist priest. To fulfill his vows, he created a nonprofit, so I have helped him with that for years. He helps causes near and dear to our hearts. So many causes are worthy, but right now I'd say I’m drawn to help the veteran suicide issue, children’s cancer and we have rescued two pit bulls.”

Greta lives in Hood River, Oregon, with her husband and their rescue pit bull, Macy Grey. Walking Macy Grey is Greta’s favorite stress relief, and she frequents the woods by trail running for exercise. The beautiful place she calls home doubles as her place of work as well.

“I travel only when I have to. I'm a total home body! I schedule video chats with global clients and travel the ‘world’ from the comfort of my office.”

If you’re able to catch Greta in a very rare moment of free time, you’ll find her baking unique cookies, making a mean margarita or lip synching to Here Comes My Girl by Tom Petty.

ISPA is thrilled to welcome new names and faces—even (especially!) faces of friendly ghosts—to the spa family and continue to diversify our talented membership base.
