Senior Account Manager & Educator at emerginC

Jayna DiMartino is the Senior Account Manager & Educator at emerginC and resides in Austin, Texas. If you don’t catch her singing in her car, you will find her traveling for work, often times up to 20 nights per month. She describes herself as ambitious, charismatic, and fun. Because of her travel for work her favorite thing to do is to have a staycation in Austin. Jayna’s desire to teach, motivate, and inspire is what lead her to the spa industry, but it is there that she found her true passion.

“I first discovered what oncology esthetics was in 2011. My best friend was fighting hard against cancer. She had been feeling really sick for about two weeks, and one day she felt good enough to go shopping. We were walking by the makeup counters at Nordstrom and she said “do you mind if we stop so I can get some bronzer?! I feel really good, but I look so pale and I think that would make me feel great”-It did! This made me realize that something so simple, like bronzer can lift one’s spirits.

She started noticing a few side effects from a study drug, her skin had become blotchy and itchy. Being an esthetician since 2008, I had a good understanding of calming and soothing ingredients that I recommended and gave to her. It improved her skin and her quality of life by making her feel “better”.

In 2013, I couldn’t help her skin anymore. Remembering all the memories and crazy times we had, and how much of a difference a simple bronzer and calming/soothing skincare made; it made me realize that I wanted to make a difference in many people’s lives that are effected by cancer.

Today, I travel around the country to resort spas and upscale medi/day spas to train estheticians and therapists on emerginC products and treatments and I always recommend them to consider getting Oncology Certified. I love that I get to plant the seed of inspiration.”
